Before your Radiesse treatment, ensure your skin is clean and free from makeup or any other products. Avoid using harsh exfoliants or retinoids for a few days leading up to your appointment to prevent potential irritation. We recommended we avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours. Inform your provider about any medications or supplements you're taking, and avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin for a week prior.

Following your Radiesse treatment, it's crucial to adhere to proper aftercare guidelines. Immediately after the procedure, apply ice packs to the treated area to reduce swelling and discomfort. Refrain from touching or rubbing the treated area for the rest of the day, and avoid engaging in strenuous exercise or activities that could lead to sweating. Over the next 24-48 hours, continue using ice packs as needed to minimize swelling. Steer clear of sun exposure and always use broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher if you need to go outdoors. Keep the treated area clean and dry during this time. In the following days post-treatment, gently cleanse the treated area with a mild cleanser and pat it dry. Avoid using harsh skincare products or exfoliants on the treated area, and avoid sleeping on the treated area to prevent pressure and displacement of the product.
