Before your Sculptra treatment, ensure your skin is clean and free from makeup or any other products. Avoid using harsh exfoliants or retinoids for a few days leading up to your appointment to prevent potential irritation. We recommended we avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours. Inform your provider about any medications or supplements you're taking, and avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin for a week prior.

After your Sculptra treatment, it's important to take immediate post-treatment care. Apply ice packs to the treated area to reduce swelling and discomfort. Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for the rest of the day. Steer clear of strenuous exercise and activities that may lead to sweating. Over the next 24-48 hours, continue to apply ice packs as needed to minimize swelling. Avoid sun exposure and always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher if you need to go outdoors. Keep the treated area clean and dry during this time. In the next few days following treatment, gently cleanse the treated area with a mild cleanser and pat it dry. Refrain from using harsh skincare products or exfoliants on the treated area. Additionally, avoid sleeping on the treated area to prevent pressure and displacement of the product.
